Cookie policy

1. What the law says
Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, transposed in Belgium by the law of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications (formerly its article 129), requires your consent before a site reads or writes anything on your device — cookie, local storage or equivalent technique. There are only two exceptions: what is used to transmit the communication, and what is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Everything listed below falls under the second one.
2. On boothapp.be
No cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage to:

None of this is sent to anyone, nor can it be used to follow you. Fonts are served by our own servers: your browser does not contact Google when displaying our pages. The links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Trustpilot are plain links: nothing is loaded from those networks unless you click.

4. On our providers' sites
When you pay, you leave our site for Stripe's payment page (checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com). Stripe uses its own cookies there, needed for payment and fraud prevention, under its own cookie policy. Likewise, "Continue with Google" takes you to Google's sign-in pages, which are governed by Google's rules. We receive none of those cookies.
5. Staying in control
You can erase what the site has kept at any time: in your browser, delete the "site data" or "cookies and site data" for boothapp.be and app.boothapp.be. The only effect: the theme goes back to your device's setting, and you will have to sign in to the portal again.
