An e-mail address or a Google account. No IP address, no pairing code, no network setting: your booths find each other through the account.

The account, and starting settings
Your account and its subscription, the starting settings of each new event, and a light, dark or system theme; the language follows the device. Your booths have nothing to configure here: they are tied to the account.
The Android app is finishing its closed test before release. Tell me when it opens — meanwhile, the web portal does exactly the same from a phone's browser.
What the app does not do
No layout or screen design: that is done on the booth or the portal, before the event. The phone is for ten-second decisions, and its counters come from the booth itself.
You will never be asked for an IP address
A design decision, not a detail: it decides whether it still works in a venue whose network you do not run.
The booth and the phone never talk directly: each goes through your BoothApp account. A “Pause” sent from a parking lot reaches the booth in seconds.
A few seconds of delay, three benefits:
- Nothing to set up on site: no port, no firewall, no IT manager to convince.
- Distance does not exist: no need to be on the booth's Wi-Fi.
- A silent booth is flagged: after three minutes with no sign of life, it shows offline.
What if the connection drops during the night?
The booth keeps going: capture, editing and printing are local. You only lose sight of it, and what was produced uploads when the network is back. See what runs offline.

Do I need to be on the same Wi-Fi as the booth?
No. Control goes through your account, not the local network: you can be in the car.
How long does a command take to arrive?
A few seconds.
What if the booth loses internet?
It keeps going: capture, editing and printing are local. The app shows it offline, and what was produced uploads on its own afterwards.
Can I control several booths at once?
Yes, each command targets one specific booth.

Is it available on iPhone?
Not yet: the app is Android. On iPhone, the web portal does the same in the browser.
